The Reading Hut®
"On a mission to inspire every child to read, learn, and find joy in words. We are the proud new publishers of the One, Two, Three and Away! series and are using them as Dyslexia Whisperers."

Our Projects
The Reading Hut Ltd is dedicated to eradicating illiteracy by ensuring every child is screened for dyslexia risk before they are taught to read and spell. DyslexiaWhisperers.com - Re-Routing Dyslexia in Dorset! We also offer a range of support services for children struggling with phonics.
We celebrate learning differences, support every child to become a confident reader by the end of KS1, and nurture a love of reading through the One, Two, Three and Away! series of more than 100 books. From the very beginning, children can SEE grapheme to phoneme correspondences in print, with 36 pre-readers providing essential early support. By the time they no longer need this mapping, our groundbreaking MyWordz® technology gives them instant access to any word they cannot yet decode or spell.
This support, while reading real stories that they find engaging, helps all children within the neurodiverse classroom step confidently into the self-teaching phase, and then we watch them fly as they hop up the steps to a world in which reading equals joy and empowerment.
The Reading Hut Ltd: Attuned to Every Child, So That Every Child Reads with Ease

Written English is difficult for at least 1 in 4 children to learn and challenging for parents and teachers to teach.
Mapped Words® make the Code visible and easier to understand in the early years, especially for children with SLCN or language processing difficulties. We have orthographically mapped One, Two, Three and Away! and bring stories to life with the Story Peg People.
At the click of a button, the structure of any word is shown. Phonemies® reveal the sound value, helping learners explore an opaque orthography and self-teach without guessing.
No child should be left behind because of the way they process language. Spelling enables self-teaching and supports easier reading.
Too many fall through the cracks in a system not designed to embrace linguistic and neurodiversity. Teachers are left without the tools to reach every learner. We can change this.
Free screening of children aged 3–7 for dyslexia risk means support can begin even before school. By tuning in through play, we can create inclusive environments that foster self-teaching.
