At The Reading Hut Ltd, we have developed the Word Mapping Mastery® System to help every child develop confidence with bidirectional word mapping, because this is the foundation of communication, reading and spelling.

Every child is different. Some children need support to find their voice. Some need support with speech sounds, phonological working memory or articulation. Some need a more systematic approach to learning the Core Code. Some need individualised intervention. Some are ready to move into independent reading for pleasure.

The 60 Second Spelling Routine supports daily speech-to-print and print-to-speech word mapping, helping children store new words in long-term memory, with no need to teach phonics or spelling rules.
